Nils Elders is a man who has seen the world from many different perspectives. Born in Zoetermeer, Holland at the dawn of the eighties he lived across the globe in exotic locations such as Quatar, Brunei and Oman. A trend he continued when he finally settled in the Scottish highlands in sunny Aberdeen...
A child who's talents emerged precociously early he began learning the piano at the age of five, taught himself to play guitar at age ten and began composing at the tender age of twelve. Throughout his teenage years he was involved in all things musical, playing guitar, bass and singing in a series of increasingly successful bands while starring in assorted musicals and even choreographing dance and fashion shows. Somehow he managed to find time to study and went to Leeds College of Music where he became a skilled operator on both Xbox and Playstation as well as graduating with a 1st class degree in Music Production and Composition. Since then he has produced both his own and others music.
Nils is a man in love with music, obsessively passionate about melodies, harmonies and rhythms. He puts no limit on the range of music he's into. However, his broad range of influences are all linked by an overwhelming enthusiasm for clever lyrics:
"...it's great when words paint an emotion or scene people can relate to...you think, yeah, I know that feeling..."
A skilled composer and performer, Nils is the consummate free-spirit, dedicated to his art. He believes the bare essentials of music are love and laughter. And cats. You can't forget the cats.
